My friends friends are not automatically my friends.

I am realizing that I need to stop making friends with people I have nothing in common with just because they are friends with my friends. My friends friendship does not automatically make them my friend. We may be friends with the same friend but I have to like them too. Stop trying to make me friends with people that I don’t like just because they like the same person that I like.
