I made this post so that people have their own idea of how difficult it is to be a refugee.

About a month ago, my family and I (my 2-year-old daughter, my 36-year-old wife, and my parents) flew to Germany.

The war in Ukraine caught us off guard and didn't give us time to pack anything. We also didn't have time to pack anything because we flew to Ukraine for vacation 2 weeks before the war and were already in Ukraine.

Back in Ukraine, we were forced to flee the city, which was being bombed by the Russians. We hid in the hospital for 4 days without electricity and water supply, until the evacuation. We were forced to flee on foot because we didn't have a car to leave in. In 4 days we walked about 80 km per day without sleep, because we didn't have the opportunity to sleep and rest. We were forced to leave the city as soon as possible while it wasn't bombed.

After 4 days, we were lucky to be provided with a bus, which took us to the border of Ukraine and Romania. We stayed in the Romanian camp for refugees for 2 days. Then we flew to Greece. We were provided with accommodation in a hotel in Greece. We stayed there for about 2 months. We were given food and everything we needed. We did not pay for anything.

After leaving the hotel, we were given a new place to live. We were given a house with a backyard. We were also given 2 cars. However, there was no work, so we decided to emigrate to Germany, because it was very difficult to live in Greece without work.

When we arrived in Germany, we were given food, water, and everything we needed. We were given a room where we could eat and rest. Until the refugee camp, we had to walk about 10 kilometers. We were given a house to live for 6 months.

I work and live in the house with my family now.

In conclusion, I want to say that Germany helped me and my family when it was difficult. My family and I are very grateful to the whole German people for their support and their trust. We are grateful that now we have a roof over our heads and we can live happily in Germany.

Thank you all so much.

Edit: Sorry for my poor English

Edit2: I did not post this to blame Greece. I am grateful to Greece for what they did. They provided me with food and shelter for more than 2 months. Then I lived in the house for 4 months. I was provided with everything I needed. Food, water and a place to live. I am also grateful to Romania, because I was provided with food and shelter for 2 days. Without your help, we would have been left on the street. We wouldn't have been able to live anywhere. You provided us with shelter and food. I am grateful to you for your help and support. Without your help, we would have been left on the street. You helped us when it was difficult.
