Why I love how people think incest is a crime that occurred yesterday.

It just boggles my mind. Incest is a phenomenon that has been described since ancient times. The Egyptians, the Greeks, the Romans; they all knew about incest and were writing about it and condemning it. Yet people will tell you that incest is a crime that is only happening today.
