My friend won a gun at a wedding.

I'm using a throwaway account here, as my friend won a gun that was recently banned by the US Government, and I don't want to give out any information that could be used to identify him and possibly get him in trouble. He won the gun at a wedding. <br><br>I won't mention the make and model, but you can Google it and find that it's illegal to sell it in the US. If you look at the wedding registry, you can find the gun that he won. <br><br>Now, I don't know if it's the registry, or what. But when he tried to pick up the gun at the store, they said they weren't allowed to give it to him. They did give him the money for it and they are giving him the money for the kit to make it an SBR so he can get the stamp. <br><br>I'm just curious. How would you handle this situation?
