Why did most futurists stop talking about the Singularity?

I've been reading Ray Kurzweil and Nick Bostrom since 2012. I've been following this sub since its very beginning. All of the futurists used to talk about AI and the Singularity. But they seem to have mysteriously stopped talking about it. Even Kurzweil and Bostrom seem to avoid the topic today. I can't figure out why.
