Why did we evolve to have such limited capacity to assault women?

Pretty much what the title says, why did when humans first started to evolve, why were we made to take so long to assault a female. It’s so cushy for them when they can literally just squat and pop out a kid, and since us guys have to take so long to assault them, then they have an excuse for us to have to care for them. when we assault them, they have to push and go the hospital, and we get to sit there when they push out a baby. We also have to carry them for 9 months, the process of assaulting a female is so long, that by that time we’ve already been tricked into caring for them, and then the assault and cushy life cycle when on forever more.
