What do you think is the most likely cause of the incel phenomenon?

For me it's the combination of the toxic social environment of the modern school system and smartphones. I think the cause of this is different for each generation because the environment has changed so much. I was born in 2000, in my day the social hierarchy was established before smartphones became widespread so the impact on me and my generation was less. I'm curious as to what you guys think is the most common cause of this for this generation of people. What do you think is the most common cause of this for people in their 30s?
