I’ve saved this screenshot for a long time of the accessibility options at a rest stop in Italy.

I’m definitely not a disabled person, but it blows my mind that this rest stop has:
- A button to change the sign language on the TV monitors to Italian sign language, British sign language, American sign language, etc
- A button to change the audio in the bathroom accessibility stalls to multiple different languages.
- A button to change the cadence of light flashing for audio descriptions.
- A button to change the braille sign inside to French, German, Italian, English, etc.
- An elevator built into these small rest stop buildings.
- A cadence of cadence light signs for cadence accessibility
- A walkway with different kinds of terrain (like gravel) for cadence accessibility
- The full text of the sign translated to braille in various languages (German, Italian, English, Spanish, etc)

Let me tell you, Italy was not what I expected before I went there.
