I'm currently enjoying a peaceful evening in my bed in a hotel somewhere in the Austrian mountains. Just wanted to recount this day here, it was so enjoyable.

I woke up at 4:30, got dressed, then went to the airport with my brother. There was a lot less traffic than I expected, and there wasn't much of a line at the check-in. I spent the morning sitting in the first airport café I came across, this place was quiet and a little secretive. I think there was food service, but I was too lazy to go ask the only other customer here who was sitting at the counter. Anyway, I just enjoyed a quiet morning, with the sound of planes taking off and with the music of Björk and Vangelis.

The first leg of my journey was a trip to Paris, which went without a hitch. I had to wait a bit at the gate to board the plane, but once we arrived in Paris, I quickly went to the departure gate for my second flight. There was still enough time to enjoy a few baguette sandwiches in the waiting lounge. I felt a little out of place because I was eating there with my backpack, and most of the other passengers were dressed for business meetings. Which I suppose is normal, given the prices of airline tickets.

The second flight was free of trouble, a little shorter than the first one, but still enjoyable. Once I arrived in Innsbruck, Austria, I waited for about half an hour at the baggage claim, then I told myself that my suitcase was probably lost. Just as I was considering buying some new clothes for the following days, my suitcase appeared on the carousel. So, I took the last bus of the day to my hotel. My hotel was on the last stop of the bus, so I didn't have to worry about getting off the bus too soon.

And finally, I ended my evening with a trip to a nearby supermarket to buy some food. This place was closed by the time I arrived, but I didn't care, I had already enjoyed the day so much. It was a little bit chilly, but the night was calm and peaceful, so I was enjoying the feeling of being outside this late. And at night, the mountains that surround this valley really take on the appearance of mountains, it's so beautiful. I felt like I was in a Turner painting.

This is more or less what I have done today. I'm really looking forward to exploring this region and its mountains. I'm so grateful that I finally had the opportunity to travel, I'm eager to learn and discover new things. And what better way to do that than by traveling?

Edit: Thank you so much for your kind words :) I have since then put my feet in a lake, I visited a castle, I climbed a mountain... these are a few of the things I have done. I'm leaving tomorrow morning, I have had a great time and I'm already thinking of my next adventures
