Do you think shoplifters are bad people?

I'm a huge shoplifting apologist and i think that the majority of us are just people who found an opportunity to score free products and probably shouldn't be judged too harshly on it. Sure, there's probably a few "career shoplifters" out there who steal because theyre lazy, but i think that it could be fun to speculate on the lives of us shoplifters and who we probably are.

You could be one of the people who lurks and scouts for months at a time before taking anything and carries around 3 invisible detachers and a counter magnet. Or you could be one who scouts out the entire store, finds a single item that you like, and walk out with it in your pocket. You could be someone who only takes things you need, only things you want, only food, only clothes, only electronics, or maybe even only certain brands. There's so many different types of people and ways of stealing, but i think that, overall, us shoplifters are people who are just trying to capitalise on lost opportunities, take advantage of a system that isn't even broken, but more... incomplete.

What are your thoughts?
