My job is watching a woman trapped in a room.

The room was featureless, anywhere from 10-20 feet in length and width. There was a single door with a slot at the bottom, maybe two inches high and six inches wide. The slot was for feeding her.

Other than the door, there was one ladder leading to the only window. The window was tiny, with four panes of glass. The ladder was essential to allow her to look out of it.

There was a table and a single chair in the room. Both made out of thick wood, maybe oak. There was also a toilet in the corner. It was old and rusted, but there was a small sink next to it. We assume she had been there her whole life.

The room was lit by two dim bulbs. They weren’t very bright. We had to adjust the lighting in the monitors to make out details in the room.

There were four monitors in total. We know the cameras were placed in four corners of the room, pointed at the center, and that two of them had slightly obstructed views. Maybe there was something blocking the view of the camera, we didn’t know.

We also didn’t know why we were watching her, or who had built the facility in which we were in. It was a large complex with dozens of rooms. I’m not sure if every room was being used for the same purpose.

The woman was skinny, with unkempt long curly hair of a red or slightly auburn color. She looked Caucasian. Even next to the dim bulbs, we could tell she was very pale. She was mostly naked, only wearing a stained white bra and what appeared to be a pair of men’s boxers.

She was alone in the room. There were no animals or even any insects. There were no bugs in the facility either.
