My husband is not my best friend.

videogame is that I have been married for 3 years and my husband is honestly not my best friend. <br><br>When we first started dating he seemed to have a lot of the same interests as me. I really liked him so I thought it was perfect! We even moved in together after the first 6 months and everything was great. We have a lot of fun together with our friends but when it’s just the 2 of us I feel like he’s really boring and basic. He works 60 hours a week so I guess I get him on the weekends. We have sex every night but beyond that he just talks about himself a lot and really doesn’t want to try any new things. He does a lot of the cooking but it really shows with his beer belly. <br><br>I have tried to get him to try new types of music, go to new places, go on dates and he really just doesn’t like doing anything that involves trying new things. He’s 40 now and I feel like he sees that’s just the way it is. I’m 38 and I just don’t feel that way at all. I feel like I’m just ignoring this huge issue because I don’t want to divorce him lol but I really don’t think that I’m ever going to feel like he’s my best friend.
