[GeoWB] Why do you think geology and geography aren’t as popular as climate and culture?

I personally feel like the sub’s name and description would be more well-suited if we were actually focused in the physical geography of the world. It certainly doesn’t help that we’re based on Chambers, where no one wants to read anything (I’m guilty too tbh), and so it’s easier to just write a few sentences about the climate and culture of your region. I think most of us realize that we’re not the most professional worldbuilders out there either. But I’m curious if you think it’s just part of the time period that we live in, or if anything else is going on. I’ve personally recently been more interested in climate and have been thinking about restructuring my map and regions to have more climate diversity.
