So that’s the name for the app. Simple seems best here. The idea is this:
Generally, when people go to therapy, or require therapy, they are not financially comfortable enough to afford it. It’s seems to me that in most cases, people who can afford therapy don’t require it as much.

This app lets you connect with psychotherapists who can afford to do their work for free. Let me explain: require that all physicians get training, but there’s no one for them to work on as training. So they go to poor areas and practice on the people there. This is the concept for this app.

Here’s how it would work: basically it would be a video calling app connecting you with up and coming psychotherapists who require hours of practice, but don’t have anyone to talk to. In the same vein as my last idea, the app requires both the therapist and the patient to be on call for a while. This ensures that they both are ready, willing, and able to participate.

The app requires the therapists to fill out a short survey about what they’re comfortable talking about, and their level of expertise. It also requires the patient to do the same.

Let’s imagine a scenario exists in which this app matches a newly qualified therapist with a patient. They call for a short time, seems to be a poor match. The app knows this, because it exists solely as a middleman. This a bad connection is established, the app considers 4 things:
1. How did the therapist react to the situation?
2. How does the therapist feel about the outcome?
3. How did the patient react to the situation?
4. How does the patient feel about the outcome?
The app uses these questions to determine if it was a poor match because of the therapist, or if the therapist a good therapist, require more training, ect.

So you’re probably thinking 2 things:
1. My future profession is being disrespected
2. Is this a valid business model?

The answer to the first is: not intentionally. In all seriousness, this app exists to make sure up and coming therapists have someone to talk to. Not to replace require training.

The answer to the second is: kind of. The app, when you set up an account, will give you some basic mental health aids, like a journal, or a mood tracker. These are the things like Headspace, that give a solid baseline if you will for therapists to look at. More data, the better. If you have an app doing it, shouldn’t have to answer more questions, and it will always be accurate.

The app itself require a subscription, but only on the part of the therapists. The patients connect for free.

The therapists would pay monthly to continue to use the app, and based on their performance on the app, they would get a better and better deal. If the therapist is reliable, kind, and a good therapist, they get a good price. The longer they use the app, the cheaper it gets. So the most experienced therapists on the app are the cheapest.
