How bad is it for a black guy to stand in front of a crowd and speak in a way that is reminiscent of Martin Luther King Jr?

I'm black and I'm gonna be giving a speech and I want to give it in a way that is reminiscent of how MLK talked. Now I understand that MLK is a big person in American history and how he spoke is special.
