It's not about the money

I can't believe how many guys just don't get it. I've read and watched hundreds of comments and videos from men lamenting the fact that traditional marriage is dead, and many are damningly critical of women for not getting back in the kitchen and submission. Even many MGTOW men are fixated on finances, some to the point of obsessing over it, as the reason why they refuse to date or marry women. I've been there, I used to think that way too, and I still believe that hypergamy is a thing. However, I've come to realize that money isn't the problem. If the worst thing about your spouse was that they were taking half of your money, you could put up with it. The problem is the complete lack of accountability and the one-sided nature of modern marriage, where the women gets rewarded for negative behavior like cheating, divorce, and even murder or abuse (female on male). In my opinion, it's not even close to being worth it, not even if my future wife offered me all of her money without wanting any of mine, not even if she had all of the skills and traits of a traditional wife. I'd rather die alone surrounded by cats than ever have to deal with the modern legal system and the complete lack of self accountability and personal responsibility displayed by modern women.
