The kid I had 10 years ago is now the parent of one of my students.

I’m a middle school teacher and I just got out of parent teacher conferences. I had a parent sign in for the conference and when I called his name I had no idea he would be an adult. It was one of my old students that I had when I first started teaching. I did not recognize him until he came towards me. He was only about 12 when I had him. He is now about 22-23 I would guess but he has a kid in my class! I am really confused on how he could have a 7th grade kid but ok. <br>I just wanted to share that. It’s definitely been an “I can’t believe it has been that long” kind of moment.
