Nothing to do with pronunciation, he's not speaking. This is just words.<br><br>EDIT: Sorry if this was posted before, I couldn't find it. The answer is: Friend.<br><br>Of course some people like to say "take away the letters he still sounds the same" .. and that is not what the Riddle is saying. It is the letters that still sound the same when you remove them. Friend is still "fri end". Without the F, it is still "ri end". And without the N and D it is still "frie". <br><br>A friend on Facebook suggested "same". The answer is "same" because without the letters it is "same". <br><br>And I have to credit someone on Tumblr who pointed out that if you take one letter away, he is your "rend". And if you take two letters away, he is your "rien".<br><br>So there are at least 4 correct answers. <br><br>I invented this riddle.<br><br>Thanks!
