Why are they this year so aggressive in the Netherlands?

Every year I have some bugs in my home (in my living room or bedroom).
But this year suddenly they are in my kitchen (where I never saw them before), I found them in my fruit (which I have never had before) and even my open vegetables (right in front of me) and more frequently in my drinks (which I have nobody ever had).
They just don't seem to care this year about my presence and leave me alone.

Why is that?

My best guess I noticed now that a lot of gardens in the neighbourhood are handled by gardening services (and aren't maintained by the home owners themselves anymore) and the service typically just maintains the gardens from the sight of the street and not go into the back of the gardens anymore (where usually the bugs were the last couple of years). I guess this might be a reason why they are now more active in the neighbourhood. But that doesn't seem to be a reason why they are more aggressive (in terms of being disrespectful of my presence).
