Parents who force their children to say ‘please’ and ‘thank you’ at *every* meal are ridiculous

I grew up having to say ‘please’ and ‘thank you’ at every meal. It was a ritual. Now that I have children, I just want to enjoy dinner as a family instead of constantly interrupting them to say ‘thank you’ for every bite of food we give them. It’s so overkill and exhausting.

Admittedly, I didn’t grow up with a ton of table manners and didn’t say ‘please’ and ‘thank you’ for every meal when I turned 18, I doubt my kids will either lmao.
