My Grandma who is very religious saw a shadow person for the first time, now she is questioning her belief in God.

My grandma is 80 years old and very religious, often saying that "God is always with us". <br>She lives alone in a 5 bedroom house my grandad built before he died. <br>She always wanted a big house with a big yard because her family lived in a shanty when she was growing up.<br><br>I am her only grandson and I live abroad so I can only visit once a year. When I visited last December, she told me something strange happened about a month or so ago. As she was watching TV, she saw a tall masculine figure standing in the doorway of her living room...only his whole body like it was black smoke, no eyes no face, just a dark mist that looked like a man. She thought it was a part of a movie she was watching at first but when she looked again she realized that her TV had paused and was actually off. She said she was paralyzed in fear for a few seconds before she ran through the doorway and into her bedroom and bolted the door shut and stayed there all night. She said for the first time in her life she felt hopeless and threatened by something she can't understand and that this shadow man may have somehow destroyed her faith in God. She said that she had always believed in God and that He would always protect her and comfort her no matter what until she saw that shadow man. She said she has been experiencing recurrent nightmares about the incident and wanted to blow the whole house up with her in it, she wants to end it all. She seriously wanted to kill herself over it, so I talked her out of it and convinced her to live with her sister instead.<br><br>She is moving out of the house which shocked a lot of the family. My cousins were expecting to live there when she dies.
