I think the reason why there are so many mental illnesses today is because we are embracing things that we as a race have historically sought to cure.

There are a lot of people who have mental illnesses that embrace and celebrate them.

I think the reason there’s so much more mental illnesses because we are embracing them, welcoming them, not seeing them as a bad thing to be cured but rather something that makes you unique. This happening because of the identity politics. We see it with women with PCOS being like “oh woooohoooo, i don’t have to shave and ladies these are the different types of hair and how to groom it, oh yaaas queen” and you realize they think it’s a special power and not an illness. PCOS, cushings disease all of these things are illnesses yet we see them as a superpower.

This is also with the mentality that emotion is everything. We are now living in a generation where people are running off of emotions. All of these mental illnesses aren’t actually a power, they’re a curse. They aren’t something to be celebrated, they’re not something to be happy about. It’s something to be sad about and come together as a society and try to cure instead of embracing it and celebrating it.

The left says that people are born with these mental illnesses but I believe people are not born with these illnesses, I believe they are created and I believe they are becoming more and more common today. We need to stop seeing them as a power and stop seeing them as a way to get your way. We need to see them as a curse and try to cure them.

EDIT: I don’t know if this was a repost. I couldn’t find anything like it. I apologize if it was a repost.
