Do you believe that the world is made out of atoms?

It seems like most people accept the atomic model of the world (in which atoms are the building blocks of matter) on blind faith. But to be honest if someone told me the world was actually made out of cheese I'd believe that too. I am not too smart and I am not familiar with past experiments and science that proves that the atomic model is true. <br><br>I am not trying to be contrarian, my point is that most people aren't even familiar with the evidence that supports the atomic model. I am not calling anyone dumb or anything, just that there is a level of faith that must be put into science.
