After years of dismissing it, I finally made the jump. I bought a house in Colorado Springs, and have a moving company come pick up my stuff in a few weeks. I've been to 41 states, but nothing makes me want to travel more than leaving this dump.

If you're on the fence about leaving Arkansas, trust me. I live in Little Rock, and it's not as bad as the rest of the state, but I'm leaving for a reason. I'm a rather avid hiker, and love to travel, go on hikes, and enjoy life. I'm 28, and I'm looking to start a family. I don't want to start my family in Arkansas. I'm tired of being surrounded by Trump loving, ignorant people who think that aliens live under the lake in Greers Ferry. And on top of that, the mountains suck. I don't know how you guys in the mountains get anything done, it's so slow.

And if you're from out of state reading this, trust me, you don't want to come here. The people aren't nice, the weather is shity, and it's just overall on the gloomier side of things. The Ouachita Mountains are a joke. I'll take the Rockies any day of the week.

Also, I've never had so many people tell me not to move, in my entire life. My wife and I went to this hole in the wall bar, and the bartender asked us what we did for a living. We both work for the state of Arkansas, and she literally told us not to move out of state. She told us that we wouldn't know what we're getting ourselves into, and that I have a pretty good job for a 28 year old, and that if we move out of state, we'll be starting at the bottom. She even went as far to say that she's lived in the state of Arkansas her entire life, and that she wouldn't want to live anywhere else. She was probably in her 50's, and clearly has never traveled anywhere. God help her.

Anyways, enough rambling, I just thought I'd share.
