AI is not a tool. It is a human replacement

AI has not simply improved the productivity of human workers it has replaced them altogether. I know this is not something people want to admit right now into the public discourse (since it could lead to a lot of social unrest and anger at the richest people in the world for completely obliterating a massive part of the workforce overnight) but deepfakes and other forms of generative AI have eliminated the need for human labor in the fields of entertainment, art, and design. It also has eliminated the need for human customer support and has even eliminated huge swaths of office work with chatgpt.

We are not just in the process of upgrading human labor with a tool we have upgraded human labor to the point where it is no longer needed.

That is why I laugh when techbros say shit like, ‘people will just find better jobs’ or whatever. AI has straight up replaced a huge section of society overnight. It is not an upgrade to human productivity anymore it is human replacement.

God I wish normies would just understand this already!!!
