You've been holed up in a bunker for 8 years. It's a fair-sized affair, loaded with enough food to last many years...but not much of anything of entertainment. You've read or watched every single thing in the place, and have been slowly reading them all again; it's been bad enough that you've started entertaining yourself by talking to the life-sized cardboard cutouts you've set up, for example, Shrek, Ellen Ripley, and Spock.

But none of them answer back, and there is always that tendency to glance nervously at your oxygen suppliers to see how much air you have left. At this point, if you're just sitting in the bunker, you'll die in the bunker; the oxygen systems aren't working to full capacity. You can fix it, but if you call for help, no one ever comes.

You know that if you just sit here, you will go mad.

You have one car; you can't repair the other one, because it's completely out of gas, and you're not sure where to get more. Fortunately, that car has enough gas in it to make it at least a few hundred miles, which is good, because you have no idea how to pump gas. Still, you have bitten the bullet, and just set out, to see what's on the road between here and the sea.

You call it...the Big Adventure.

Furthermore, if you stay here, you will go mad.
