I never felt more comfortable with myself than yesterday at the gym

It is pretty stupid, I never really liked my body, it isn’t the best shape - I’ve always felt this way. With this gym thing I’ve been doing the past couple of months, I thought “ohh well, gonna work out now, there are gonna be people in better shape with prettier bodies, I gotta suck it up and just focus on myself” but the gym is really filled up with people in pretty bad shape - multiple couples and groups of moms in their 30s and 40s there. I never felt more comfortable with myself. I’ve just got to focus on myself and not care about how I imagine people view me. It makes sense.
