I've recently been to Boston and Chicago, and both cities are overrun with panhandlers. At times I felt scared to walk in the streets.

I'm actually from England where we don't have this issue. I never expected to see this level of panhandling in the US. All my American friends tell me this has just started happening since 2020, and we won't be visiting the US again until the problem is resolved.

I'm not sure what the solution to this issue is but I'm gonna guess either not enough jobs exist to employ people properly, or not enough support for people is in place to help them get back on their feet.

If you want to bring in more international tourism then this issue needs to be addressed. Something I hear Trump talks about a lot but I haven't seen anything in place to tackle it.

The US has a major problem with panhandling, and it's ruining holidays.
