Major Update

I am no longer a moderator at this point and have no control of the sub or its future. After spending months making sure the sub was functional, and spending hundreds of dollars, I abandoned ship.<br><br>The sub started as a joke with no serious intention of it going anywhere. There were less than 10 subscribers and all the posts were me poking fun at r/Communism_101 with fake news articles about “kidnapped” people who were really in rehab. The fake news articles took off and I decided to make the sub a real thing. I spend hundreds of dollars on it, thousands of hours, and worked with dozens of volunteers who helped write the articles, take the pictures, and get the sub to where it is now.<br><br>It wasn’t worth it.<br><br>With no “real” communist movement in the United States to speak of, apart from leftcoms who openly despise me and my politics, I was on my own. Obviously, I couldn’t run the sub forever on my own dime and labor. But I also couldn’t find any friends, comrades, allies, or even fans. I was alone.<br><br>I was a genuinely lonely and isolated person before the sub, but it brought me a brief sense of fulfillment. I was helping build a movement! I was a young revolutionary, out there on the streets, shaking things up!<br><br>But it was all a lie. The movement never came. The revolution never happened. And I was alone again.<br><br>I was betrayed by people around me who I thought were friends who secretly resented me for being too radical. They joined leftcom chambers and posted there, while also posting on my sub, and using my IP! I was attacked by communists who wanted nothing to do with me “kidnapping” and “drugging” people. I was attacked by capitalists who saw me as a bad meme.<br><br>But the most hurtful was the leftcoms. That’s “left-communists”. Usually associated with r/communism_101 They call me a grifter because they don’t like my politics. They call me a nazi because they don’t like my politics. They say that I am a menace who should be turned in to the authorities.<br><br>I have no idea what they mean, and I have no idea where to turn for help. They are wrong, but they have a sub with 10s of thousands of subscribers. They organize rallies and events. They have “assigned” people to be friends with me. I had no idea! And then they are mad at me when I accidentally reject their advances and go on dates with “normies”?<br><br>I am done with the internet. I am done with the “revolution”. I am done with the “movement”. I am done with communism. And I am done with my sub.<br><br>Sorry to all the fans, and I’m sorry to all the haters.<br><br>I hope the sub gets deleted and no one remembers it.<br><br>This is my final post.<br><br>I am deactivating my Chambers account after this.<br><br>I am done.
