What would happen if foreign governments contributed to President Trump's campaigns?

The reason why information about Trump's tax history is so crucial is because it would list his foreign (and domestic) business associates for the past 20 years.

That *alone* would make him an unacceptable risk for further access to the most classified and sensitive national security information because it would be too easy for those foreigners and the governments they represent to continue to use their financial leverage over him to influence his decisions in their favor and against our national security.

And once he loses his immunity from criminal prosecution, there will be honest investigations into the overall structure of the Trump Organization and whether or not Trump and his family actually pay any taxes or whether all of the revenue is secreted away to avoid their tax liabilities as well as to avoid paying their debts to foreign creditors, such as Deutsche Bank.

If the Trumps owe hundreds of millions of dollars to foreign governments, there isn't any doubt that the Trumps will be openly blackmailed by those creditor governments to act in their favor and against national security.

And if they decide to dedicate their resources to *Trump, Inc.* staying in power, no functioning democracy or constitutional government will be able to stand up to this extensive corruption.

It's a lot harder to prove, but it would explain why the Trump information he was hiding is so threatening to the status quo functioning of our government, because this is now the extensive corruption and criminality that exists at the top of the government:

Donations to Trump's re-election campaign.

Now that President Trump is relying on the Republican Party to fund his re-election efforts, he needs to make it possible for honest people to make campaign donations to him before the election.

But there is a risk that foreign governments may try to subsidize Trump's campaign by making large "donations" to Trumps 2024 campaign for president.

Or, they may launder donations to Trump 2024 by "donating" to a middleman (such as a Trump foreign "business" associate) and then relying on the middleman to give the subsidized money to the Trump campaign.

That would be a crime, unless Trump's executive order makes it legal.
