What if sherpas never existed?

The idea of humans living in the Himalayas and being adapted to the harsh conditions of the mountains so they can carry tourists up the mountain sounds like a shitty racial stereotype. Like a haunted middle school girls locker room from the early 2000’s. I think we should just call them the Himalayan people. That name will not be used here though, because it is not the name of the people you are thinking of. <br><br>If they didn’t exist, how would we get so many rich, middle aged, white men up the mountain?
