My wife admitted to me that she cheated on me

Wife literally just came to me before I left for work this morning and told me she’s been cheating on me for the last few months. I’m devastated, she literally has just come clean and is sort of blurring out everything she’s done, the fact she’s been lying about her whereabouts and spent the night with her lover etc. I honestly don’t know how to process this information. For the last few months I no longer recognised my wife, she was cold and distant and looked completely dead behind the eyes. Like no light in her pupils at all. It’s a horrible feeling knowing that I failed to help my wife when she needed me, failed as a husband and just failed her completely as a partner. I have no idea what this means for our marriage now. I’m just a broken man right now. She’s gone to stay with her sister now, she’s given permission for me to sell her car, the only thing that’s hers that has any value at all, to pay off some debt we have. How strange.<br><br><br>Update: I thought she was going to tell me that it was a physical affair but it was emotional. She’s been messaging this guy for months and sending him pictures etc. She said she needed someone to talk to and they just chatted. I’m still heartbroken though and I just feel so lost and hurt. I honestly don’t know how to process this information. I feel so empty and hollow. It’s not nice at all.
