My friends say I'm 'ugly' in real life but I have 'actual' Instagram followers so I'm confused.

I'm not here to dox myself. I'm 20 and I have around 35k followers on Instagram. I used to be fat but I lost all this weight and has since been consistently going to the gym and stuff. I had around 2k followers when I was fat. But then I got a lot recently and it got up to 35k. My friends say I'm ugly in real life but I have a good amount of followers and I'm pretty sure I'm not an AI.<br><br>What to make of this?
