Why do you think relationships like this aren't “natural”?

So I was talking with a friend the other day. I like to see what she REALLY thinks and so I asked her “So, if the entire world were just levelled to the ground right now, and there was no society, no laws, animals, no other people around, how would you envision that scenario playing out?” Frankly, she didn’t expect me to ask that, so she was a bit “in the moment” with her answer, and she told me she imagined mother / daughter incest like I outlined.

I immediately disagreed and said I couldn’t imagine that. I personally don’t find children sexually attractive and I wouldn’t be sexually attracted to anyone who is.

I told her I think “incest” is a loaded term anyway. I don’t really buy that either the mother / daughter or father / son are naturally inclined to push their children away from their relationships.

I don’t think anyone is “born” gay, I think it’s what “happens” in life that determines how we are sexually attracted. I think children are protected from this, but I think it is a natural reaction to “encourage” this behavior and I don’t think it “happens” to create the mother / daughter “incest” relationship.

So, what do you think? Do you think father / daughter incest is “natural”?
