Why do gun owners who act like Jackasses get so much media attention, but not the good ones?

I'm sick of it. I'm so fucking sick of people like Roberg, DLive Jack, and Deter. These "influencers" do insane and Jackass shit and it gets so much mainstream media attention, but no one ever talks about the good ones. Kyle Rittenhouse saved two lives. Stephen Willeford saved dozens at that Texas church shooting. These people are heros.<br><br>But what gets attention instead? "MAN LIVES IN A VAN DOWN BY THE RIVER... AND HE SHOOTS SHIT AND ACTS LIKE A JACKASS, WHOA!"<br><br>And DLive Jack is even worse in my opinion. He goes on these alcohol fueled rants that make the entire gun community look bad.<br><br>I'm fucking sick of it. The mainstream media and general public refuse to acknowledge that there are responsible gun owners, and they only pay attention to the ones that make us all look like dickheads.<br><br>Discuss.<br><br>Edit: I changed "person who shall not be named" to "Roberg". Last time I mentioned him, all these fucking trolls came in my DMs talking about how I was pitting the "community" against him and I got death threats. I think it's pretty obvious who I mean by "Roberg".
