I got banned from r/redscarepod for posting an article from VICE

I just made this throwaway account to share my story, as the moderators have deleted it from the original sub.<br><br>So yesterday, I posted an article from VICE onto r/redscarepod. To my surprise, I got banned from the sub. I feel like this was an overreaction, as my post got 400 upvotes. I messaged the moderators and explained that my intention was to share the article and spark a discussion, but they just sent back a generic response saying they don't tolerate "low effort posts." <br><br>I posted the same article onto some other subs like r/relationship_advice and r/kingcobrajfs (for anyone who's familiar with that sub), and didn't get any backlash.<br><br>I'm not trying to get anyone cancelled, I just think this is ridiculous. The moderators are already getting backlash from people who saw my post before it got deleted.<br><br>**EDIT: I didn't expect this blowback. I'm going to delete this post so I don't get doxxed.**
