Why do people say women want a "hunky" guy, but all the attractive men in media are skinny?

I think I get why. The media is designed to make dudes feel insecure so they go out and buy stuff. The add campaigns of the last 20 years are designed to make normal guys feel fat.<br><br>But what it does is dump that fat out into the dating market, where it from what I've been hearing hurts women's standards and forces them to lower what they are looking for.<br><br>I don't know it makes sense to me. The media is designed to hurt men but it inadvertently helps us by lowering standards of women.<br><br>I think it's just a general system of insecurity designed to sell us all junk we don't need.<br><br>&#x200B;
