App to create a community around a single piece of digital art <br><br>I wanted to create an app that creates a community around a single piece of digital art. <br><br>The idea is to create a “town hall” for people to discuss a particular piece of art, its meaning and to carry out intellectual discussions. <br><br>There would be a public chat room where people who are interested in the art piece could comment on what the piece means to them, why they like it, etc. <br><br>From this chat room, people would be able to break off into smaller, more granular groups, based on specific subtopics that the art piece may have sparked. <br><br>The subtopics could be anything from certain messages or symbolism in the piece that people are discussing to political or societal issues, theories or interpretations that the piece may have raised.<br><br>For example, if it was a piece by Picasso, they might have a group discussing the symbolism of the shapes, another group discussing the impact of the piece on art and culture and another group discussing the political message of the piece and how it may relate to current affairs. <br><br>The groups can be private or public and anyone can create one. <br><br>There could also be a blog style section where artists and art lovers may write a longer piece about the piece of art and invite people to comment. <br><br>There could also be a section where artists themselves can write about the inspiration for the piece and how it came about and invite people to ask questions.<br><br>Some features could be <br><br>- public chat room for a piece of art <br><br>- private “groups” or chat rooms for more in depth discussions about subtopics. <br><br>- blog style section where people can write articles about the piece of art and invite people to comment. <br><br>- article section written by the artists themselves. <br><br>-“room” for artists to invite people to ask questions in the comments.<br><br>I would also like to include some gamification features to encourage people to join in on the conversations and groups etc. <br><br>I’d like these features to be very “ emphasised” in that we want people to feel encouraged to join in the chat and groups. <br><br>There could be points for things like <br><br>- people commenting on your blog posts or articles. <br><br>- people joining your groups. <br><br>- a lot of people liking your comments. <br><br>- people joining your chat room or engaging with your chat room posts. <br><br>There may also be levels; for example, level 1 may be “new to the gallery” and level 100 could be “curator”. <br><br>You could unlock special features at different levels, for example, if you were a curator, you may be able to create a special blog post that goes in a special section of the app, or a special curated group that is highlighted in a special section. <br><br>You could also earn badges for things like “top commenter” or “top blogger” or “most engaging group”. <br><br>Each piece of art would have its own “gallery” which would be essentially a town hall for that piece of art. <br><br>I would like to curate the art so that they are all works by artists who are passionate about creating pieces that invite discussion and raise questions.<br><br>I would also like to include a feature for people to share their own artwork, and for it to be voted in/out by the community. <br><br>I would also like to have a section where people can buy prints of the artwork featured in the app.<br><br>I would like the app to feel very emphasised towards discussion, community and inclusivity and feel like a safe space for people who may be new to art galleries or art discussion to explore their interests and feel included. <br><br>Each gallery could also have a count of how many people are currently in the gallery, to foster a sense of being part of a community. <br><br>For example, “700 people are currently gathered in the gallery, discussing this piece of art”<br><br>I would also love to include some features where people can collaborate with each other, on art pieces. <br><br>For example, if there is a piece of art that is a photograph, they could invite people to contribute to a digital version of the piece, that incorporates their own ideas. <br><br>I would also love to include some AR features to allow people to superimpose the artwork in their own surroundings and see it in a real life setting. <br><br>There could be plenty of other features that you could add to this, but these are the main needs. <br><br>I have a good budget for this project. <br><br>I am looking for someone who is very passionate about art and creating inclusive spaces for collaboration and discussion. <br><br>There is a lot of scope for entrepreneurs to get creative with the features, or to think of other features that could be added. <br><br>I am looking for someone who is a self-starter. <br><br>The ideal candidate would have an extensive portfolio of apps that they have created and be able to provide examples of their work and testimonials. <br><br>If you are interested in this project, or would like to be considered, or would like some more information, please message me or email me at [[email protected]](mailto:[email protected])<br><br>Thank you so much for looking at my project idea!
