Google’s Gemini AI chatbot preserves users’ conversations

Google will continue to store information and data that users input into Gemini, the company's AI chatbot — and is looking for ways to make it useful to them.<br><br>Gemini is the company's generative AI chatbot that is integrated into its search engine and slated to arrive in Bard later this year. It is intended to have a longterm memory by holding conversations and recalling previous details or questions.<br><br>It preserves these conversations by creating an identifier that connects them to a user’s Google account, which will continue to be the case even if the Gemini moniker is phased out.<br><br>Google is not the only company to create generative AI chatbots with longterm memories.
