Is anyone here excited or even care about the upcoming Singularity related developments?

I personally don't think anyone here cares about upcoming AI developments. I've been lurking and posting here for a while, I don't see a lot of interest for the upcoming advancements in AI or the Singularity. A lot of what I see in the comments are mostly skeptical and some of them even call people that are hanging on AI developments "culty". I don't think there is any agenda here, people just wanna see a real revolution in AI capabilities and they want to follow the news.
