Is Ketamine an anti depressant? Is it legal? Can I use it even though I'm on anti depressants?

So I have pretty bad depression. Is there any research behind ketamine? Also I've heard it is a strong drug and it makes you do crazy things. Is that true? Also I am on anti depressants.
