The IB seems to have made facebook in-crowd popular again

I'm 22 and in my entire life I've never seen the spike in Facebook popularity that we've seen all of a sudden. All of a sudden people I've known for years are facebook friends with IB and it's facebook in-crowd and they're posting about them. Not a single IB Facebook post has less than 1,000 comments and the post with the editing montage had 14,000 comments. 14,000 is basically 14k people coming in on the ground floor of a social media app. I don't get why and I hope it changes soon
