When do you typically steal?

Hi guys! So I’m a beginner in shoplifting. I’m currently a 16 year old girl and I have only stolen once so far

I stole the first time on a Saturday at around 2 o’clock in the afternoon. I know this is one of the worst times to steal because the weekends are usually crowded and there are more workers to supervise.

Anyways, I stole a lip gloss from Sephora. I put it in a little small purse I had. I made a movement that caught a workers attention and she stared at me the rest of the time I was in there! Then she approached me and asked me if I needed help finding anything. I said no, and I told her I’m just shopping around right now. When I was close to the exit, I noticed her go tell another worker something and then proceed to follow me all the way to the exit! I swear she was about to stop me. I walked out and I was so freaking terrified. I waited at a store nearby and observed to see if anyone came after me. After 5 minutes, I left

Needless to say this was a horrible first time experience and I won’t be stealing on weekends anymore at that hour

I did successfully steal, but the stress was too much for me

Share with me your experiences

When do you usually steal? What time of the day? What time of the week? What season?
