Putin and Russia has already been hit with the toughest of sanctions, Russia's most important oil installations have been destroyed, Russia has also already lost many generals and 40,000+ troops in Ukraine.<br><br>What does Putin hope to achieve by continuing, what are his end games regarding Ukraine?<br><br>If Russia wins then Russia has to rebuild and pay for Ukraine's entire transition into Russia, if they lose they lose even more. It seems like Russia cannot win, and a stalemate would still be a Russian loss because they didn't achieve their goals, a Ukrainian win would be a complete defeat for Russia.
