Why do people get offended at being called black?

I watched this video where a white girl said to a black girl "You're my black friend" and the black girl got mad at her for saying it. Wouldn't you want to be recognized as being black, isn't that your identity as being black? I'm Asian and it wouldn't bother me if someone called me Asian.
