So, say there's an event that brings out a lot of different opinions in people.

Example: Police shot a man. All news sources agree on basic facts: where it happened, what they did after the fact, the race and occupation of the police officers and the victim, the circumstances leading to the shooting.

BUT - there's a lot of disagreement over whether or not this was a justified use of lethal force.

The app comes in here. You say "I think this shooting was wrong. Show me what the people who think it was justified have to say."

OR

"I think this shooting was justified. Show me what the people who think it was wrong have to say."

Then, it would show you the views of people in the opposite camp - BUT you're still in the same news publication that you were in. So you would know that the headline "Cop's use of force was completely justified" isn't a headline you'd see in the MSNBC, it's an MSNBC headline that comes down on the same side as Fox News on occasion.

Another good example would be everything that happens in Israel or Palestine.
