"Why are you taking pictures of your food?" is more annoying than taking the picture itself

When I am on vacation, I like taking pictures of my food. I take a photo of it, and then put my phone away. I don't bother editing the photo, adding filters, or even showing it to the person next to me but there is always someone who has to say something about it. It is not any of their business, and more than likely I am taking the photo to remember the moment by and the photo will never see the light of day again.<br><br>It is not worth getting annoyed over but I feel like the action of taking a photo of your food is so normalized that getting mad over it is the weird thing to do.
