My uncle was driving home late one night around 4am back in the late 1970s and stopped at a red light in a large city. This is a time before cell phones, so he couldn’t call for help but wanted to. While stopped at the red light, he felt a hand come in his driver’s side window and open his car door. A man jumped in and held a large knife to his ribs and told him to drive.

My uncle didn’t drive and instead started screaming at the top of his lungs and honking the horn. The man, startled, got out of the car and ran away. My uncle was terrified but otherwise unhurt.

We can never let our guard down.

The man that jumped into my uncle’s car. LET’S NOT MEET.
