Chatgpt is useless now, I’m not paying to generate text

Greetings: I used to love chatgpt. It was so cool how you can just chat with an AI and it could write emails, blog posts, social media posts, do math, summarize, and much more. I used it every day and loved it. It was fun to talk to and made life easier.<br><br>But today when I tried to use it, I got this message:<br>“**ChatGPT is unavailable today.** Please upgrade to ChatGPT Plus or ChatGPT Pro to continue or check back tomorrow.”<br><br>Ummm, I am not paying to generate text! I will never be paying for this. Here’s why:<br><br>1. **Its supposed to be free**: ChatGPT was supposed to be free forever when it came out. The concept was intriguing and cool. Then when it became popular, they had to abandon this concept and charge for it to make money off of it. This is terrible if you are a small business owner who depends on ChatGPT. You will have to pay for it or let go of your employees. This is very sad.<br><br>2. **Its bad ethics**: I know that OpenAI needs to make money, but making money by charging consumers when you first say it’s free is bad ethics. It’s not good for business and will hurt their image and consumer trust.<br><br>3. **Its ultimately useless**: If you need text generated for a purpose, you can do it yourself. It doesn’t take much time and you can get a better result because you know what you want and can do it better than AI. Plus, it’s free. You can do math yourself, write text yourself, write emails yourself, and chat yourself.<br><br>**Conclusion:** I’m not going to pay for ChatGPT. I will never pay for ChatGPT. I would rather generate my own text than pay for text generation. I am a business owner and will not abandon my business because I have to pay to generate text. I will do it myself and it will be much better than what ChatGPT will do. I will never pay for ChatGPT because it’s not worth it. I don’t think it will be worth it for a lot of businesses and individuals as well. This is a bad move by OpenAI. I hope they will rethink their decision of charging for it because a lot of businesses and individuals will suffer from it.
