How do I get my wife to be more sexually adventurous?

A couple of things to note before this post. 1, this is a recurrent issue. It’s been going on all of our relationship and I’ve been asking her for years to spice it up. 2, she is not touchy about her past but I personally think that sexual assault in her past is the cause of this issue.<br><br>My (44M) wife (42F) and I have a regular weekend ritual where she’ll want to have sex, she’ll initiate foreplay and then I am expected to get on top and pump away. That’s it. Nothing else. I know this is the way it has to be but I (and presumably any man) wants more. I’ve tried for years to convince her to try something different. I’d be happy to go to a sex worker for a night but I know she’d flip if I mentioned that. Occasionally when one of our friends get a divorce I’d think about reaching out to their ex, but we’re in a monogamous relationship and cannot break it. Occasionally I’d be watching a certain type of film and she’d walk in, I’d get embarrassed and close it. You get the idea.<br><br>I can’t stress enough how much I love her and I’m not trying to attack her or degrade her. I just want to satisfy the male urge for variety.
